Don't Go There...

Dr is good but you can never reach him. His office never takes a call. You have to do everything via his website and neither he nor his staff are responsive at all. Some of his staff are better than others but generally speaking you will never be able to speak to an actual person unless you obtain an appointment and good luck trying to get one. If you call to make an appt. you will either be disconnected (about 40% of the time) or if you get the answering machine they are not very responsive...

Don't go. I have been trying for over a week to get a new prescription for a generic version of my medication and they haven't done it. THEY ARE LEAVING ME WITH NO MEDICATION! Its not even a controlled substance or anything. Sorry, but I don't have $230 for a brand name drug and I don't understand why you continue to write an Rx for brand name when I have told you MULTIPLE times my insurance doesn't cover brand name. SUCKS. I'm calling a different doctor TODAY to try and get an appointment for next week.

DON'T DO IT.

Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what was going on for me. I felt like they were way to general about the cost of their services. I left without really knowing how much I'd be billed. It definitely wasn't easy finding parking at their office. I eventually found a spot but only after I had circled around for a long time. What a waste! I wish I hadn't bothered to spend the time and money on this appointment. In the year I saw this doctor he made a habit of sceduling in excess of 5 patients for the same time which insured a waiting time of anywherefrom 10 to45 minutes. He never developed atreatment plan and finally stopped meeting me and would foist me off on a nurse practioner who told me the dr would have to figure it out but in a yr I saw the doctor on the initial visit which costs 250.00 and one other time. When I told him I could not afford the 400 month for one prescription he refused to change the prescription and then started foisting me off on his nurse practioner who was useless and when I asked about the history from my original dr who retired, they said they never req my file. Worthless doctor who also charged me the fees for him seeing me when only the nurse saw me. 9 months after I fired the dr to his face as the nurse did not know how to respond to my questions about the malpractice the dr had committed I got a laughable letter telling me still needed assistance wirh a listof other drs. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MBR THAT IS ILL DO NOT USE THIS DR

I try to make an appointment with the fee a real Psychiatrist would charge someone with no insurance. I hadn't met my deductible, and I'm broke. $160 REALLY? You won't help someone out? I know it's not their fault that I'm broke, but it is their job to help people. I thought Diane was a good Nurse Practitioner but, no help either. Refused to call me back to maybe handle my issue over the phone. They change my medication, which was fine, but didn't bother to add a new one or see how I'm doing (which I wouldn't expect anyway considering the wait time and the ridiculous cost.) This is why healthcare shouldn't be based on capitalism. Only saw Dr. Naus once, then shoved off on Diane the next 3 appointments. Why doesn't he hire 10 Nurse Practitioners and get 10X the patients? He wouldn't be affected and he would have a lot more money. That's what it's all about. What a jerk..
