Can’t say enough good things about our experience with this office. My daughter’s wisdom tooth extraction (4 impacted) was problem-free. The doctor and each staff member were so kind and professional at every encounter. Highly recommend!!

I went down to Ora Oral Surgery & Implant studio for a consultation and The moment I walked in, I was impressed. The staff was very professional and nice. They made me feel at home. I was in such amazement, I forgot about the pain I was in. State of the art everything. As I'm waiting to see the doctor, I'm watching direct TV in the dental chair. I was showed the work that needed to be done and A week later, Dr. Steven Koos saved my life. That was the quickest surgery I've ever had in my life. I was very comfortable. I didn't feel any pain, not even from the IV. They put on music of my liking and then I woke up minus the bad teeth. Ora Oral Surgery & Implant studio is the best example of excellence. As long as I have teeth, Ora Oral Surgery & Implant studio will be the only place I go.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. Dr. Steven Koos is extraordinary! He is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who in my opinion is the best oral surgeon in Chicago. I was there to have a wisdom teeth extraction and three molar extraction. With every extraction he used anesthesia which kept me at easy and comfortable. Ora is always and beautiful inside it shocked me completely when I found out it was complete green. I thank Dr. Koos for everything.

So this was my third procedure now with Dr. Steven Koos. Some teeth extracted first, then some bone grafting and a dental implant and now another implant. The procedures went super smoothly with the added comfort of sedation too. I thought the upper left back molar area was a lost cause for me and that I would be forced to chew food for the rest of my life on my right side. A few other oral surgeons and periodontists told me that they really couldn't do anything to give me permanent teeth in back because of too much bone loss. Well I am so so glad that I researched online and didn't wind up with who I was initially referred to and that I went for a final opinion to ORA Oral Surgery & Implant Studio. I am going to be getting teeth again and I am tickled that they are not the kind that I have to take out at night! Dr. Koos did a great job of walking me through the process each step of the way and has worked closely with my dentist. He is soft-spoken and respectful and really listens and cares, all are qualities difficult to find wrapped up in one.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Koos, and I'm glad I didn't have it done anywhere else. It really is a complete experience there. I had an appointment so I didn't have to wait all that long, but it wouldn't have mattered because the waiting room is really cool! there were plenty of complimentary juices and plenty to read, the secretary was nice and got me signed in right away. The office is really nice, it feels clean but not sterile or institutional, which was made me feel much more at ease, particularly after waking up after the operation.

Dr. Koos walked me through the procedure beforehand, what I should expect etc. but not in an "I know much more than you do" kind of way which I've experienced a lot before, that made me feel really comfortable. To add to that, there were ipod stations built into the walls! I got to pick the music I wanted to hear while they got everything ready and put me to sleep. The procedure went well, I did end up developing a dry socket but I had enough painkillers to get me through that, they weren't as bad as people said they would be. All in all I don't think I could have made a better choice as far as doctors go. Even though there ended up being complications they as well as everything else were addressed with utmost professionalism and care. Two huge thumbs up!

Ok, so just because I work in the dental office doesn't mean I want to have oral surgery done or any surgery for that matter. Actually I dread any surgery because I get very sick from the anesthesia when I wake up and this was a big concern before deciding to let Dr. Koos put me under. Well I am happy to say after two surgeries with Dr. Koos both couldn't have gone any smoother. Surgery one I had to have my wisdom teeth and two baby molars removed. Surgery two I had to have two implants placed with bone grafting and for both surgeries I didn't get sick and the recovery was fast. Dr. Koos and his staff did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anybody I know and love!!!

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in

No, if they had music on it was very soothing

Absolutely! I'm always able to get my questions answered over the phone right away!
