Getting an appointment with Dr. J was always really easy because he was cognizant of the issues I was struggling with. He was one of the few Doctors that listened and showed empathy when I suffering from an illness and simultaneously the death of a pet and close relative.
I got the feeling that my other doctors thought I was pathetic when I tried to share my grief.
The only time Dr. J. was in a bad mood was when a patient would try to take advantage of him. He mentioned a client saying their dog ate their prescription, or they lost their script in the wash!
Hes human just like you and I and it was obvious that he felt hurt or disrespected when clients tried to take advantage of him.
Dr. J. also has a uniquely funny sense of humor that always makes me laugh.

They were rarely able to answer any of my questions
Does this psychiatrist give unbiased advice?
Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!
