When Dr Cahill was alive he was rated as one of the five best neurosurgeons in the world. It was a major loss to his patients and to any person with problems other surgeons were afraid to attempt to repair when he died in an airplane crash thirteen years ago. Anytime I meet someone contemplating neurosurgery I am sorry I cannot send them to Dr Cahill. I would recommend Dr Gene Balis for diagnosis and attempts to avoid surgery; he is a great human being concerned only with taking the safest approach to helping you with your health. Probably the USF neurosurgeons are good as well; I think one or two trained under Dr. Cahill.
