I have had the privilege of having Dr. Sossenheimer as my Gastro MD for the past several years. I am a difficult case and do not fall under the normal diagnosis. There are not many MD's who genuinely care about their patients or are willing to take the time to properly diagnose their patients instead of just sending them home with an RX to temporarily "fix" the solution. Dr. Sossenheimer has never rushed me through an appointment and makes sure that he has answered any and/or all questions that I have. His nurse Kim is amazing! The two of them together have always responded to questions kindly and very efficiently whether it be via email, patient portal or phone calls. I would highly recommend anyone that has a Gastro problem seek a consultation with Dr. Sossenheimer. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will follow through with great detail and is willing to look outside the box to help resolve your issue.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. From signing in to the prompt reception and processing was rapid and instructions were clear and helpful. Very shortly I was taken back and the medical preparation was again rapid, professional and with clear instructions and explainations given by Travis. Next my nurse I believe named Ann was very friendly as was everyone I made contact with. All the staff had very reassuring smiles on their faces and heard lots of "pleases" and " thank you" Really a great crew of medical professionals. Ann started my IV with just one poke and then we proceed to chat which was really a stress reliever. I was amazed at the most modern facility with lots of "gagets" that I'm sure translate to less pain and most rapid completion of the various proedures one must endure. Next came the procedure room technician, Ashley again with a huge smile and very friendly persona. Dr. Sossenheimer was most attentive and took time to explain in detail what my procedure would entail. That was very reassuring as I felt most confident with the entire operation that was to begin. Dr. Sossenheimer has great "Bed Side Mannor" as they use to say. He has a way with patients that is very conforting. I really like this doctor. The entire experience very positive. Kudos to the entire staff

Office is always very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Dr. Sossenheimer treats you like a valued human being and takes whatever time is needed to discuss issues. Never seems hurried and listens to patients concerns.

I appreciate the thoroughness to get to the bottom of what is going on with my illness, I have only seen this type of concern with few doctors, though I am not very thrilled with all the tests coming my way, I am glad that we will be soon able to alleviate any concerns as well as adjust treatment accordingly. I feel very welcome when I come into the office, I do not feel just like a number but a person. The entire staff is very friendly. Thank you for being so great!

I was referred to Utah Gastroenterology and Dr. Sossenheimer specifically, by my local gastro group. I have found them to be very good to work with. The entire staff is professional & yet personable. He has been very accessible through his assistant Kim & the Patient Portal, as far as questions & prescriptions, etc. I have chronic pancreatitis & will have on going treatment, but the original ERCP that Dr. Sossenheimer did went very well for me, he placed stents in the pancreas & bile duct, I didn't experience an acute pancreatitis attack.

They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. One thing I love about them, is that they're always willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it.
