They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. Their staff was rude. I really didn't feel welcome there. There is no one I would recommend go to this provider. The lady name Asheley is very rude. She made me feel like I should not be there. Embracing Health is a disappointment. I will not return.

Their staff was not friendly in the least; I really didn't feel welcome there. I felt really disrespected by the front desk; they could not get the pronunciation of my first name and actually asked me if I was sure that was how it was pronounced?? REALLY?? The chairs in the waiting room at this doctor's office were definitely above average. I was comfortable. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. What I liked was how friendly the doctor and nurse were here. I will be returning because I really liked Dr. V.

I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. They weren't horribly inexperienced, but I was hoping for someone with more experience. I wasn't sure they'd be able to help me. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. I felt ignored. They are almost always unavailable. It was difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in.

I was on a Rx that I have to take daily. I transfered to Dr V when I got out of the military and even though I had been on the medication for 3 years it was pulling teeth to get her to continue the Rx. Twice I've had to return the Rx because the dosage was written incorrectly. Because my Rx is technically controlled I have to stop by monthly to get it filled. I usually call up about a week out, and about 25% will the RX be ready for pickup on the assigned day. I recently had my car broken into and my Rx was stolen. I contacted the police, got a case number, tried calling this office and took almost 4 days to hear back. My insurance company understood and said they would cover the costs of replacing. Dr V refused to fill it. I offered the case number and the officer who took my case, but she refused to replace it. I was told at work that I had to leave for a conference in NJ the night before I was scheduled to pick up my Rx. I called and explained the situation and even though I havnt been on the medication for two weeks they refused to fill the Rx 12 hours early. This is medication I'm required to take daily and is extremely dangerous to be taken off cold turkey, the doc didn't care. I had to skip on the conference, which probably cost me the promotion I've been working towards. The utter lack of care is astonishing. The nurses refused to let me speak to the doc directly and were very rude when I tried to explain why I was requesting medication. The funny thing is this medication is not any super pain medication people get high on. I doubt it even has a street value. It would have cost the doc nothing to fill it, whereas the insurance would spend about $800 for me to refill. I would avoid this place if you want caring medical staff.

I recently moved from my doctor of 25 years to Embracing Health because my doc closed his practice. I have been to this office for several visits. Each time the wait was excessive. At least 40 min in the lobby and another 30+ in the room waiting. Today I had an appointment because I have been exhausted for weeks. I took the afternoon off work. It was snowing and the traffic was slow. I was 15min late for the appt. They checked me in and informed me that I had a balance from a previous visit which I then paid.

After 5 min, they called me back to the front desk and said they wouldn't see me because I was late and the doctor was backed up. I asked if she was backed up because I was late. The answer of course was no. I asked if they took an additional person in the 15min that I was late and the answer again was no. They agreed that I would still be waiting in the lobby well after they checked me in. I said I took off work and couldn't do it again for a few days. They still refused. It isn't right that they routinely have people wait longer than an hour but don't even give a 15min grace period. They make sure they take your money before they tell you they won't see you. My previous doctor would never done this. I never waited longer than 20 to see him. He also would squeeze me in when I was ill. I went to Patient First on 610 after my doctor refused to see me. They were great. I recommend them highly. Embracing Health is a disappointment.

This office is not very knowledgeable in the area of bioidentical hormones. Also, after having a significant adverse reaction to something they had reccomended, I could not get a call back to advise me how to manage the situation. Sadly, it does not appear that the doc is overseeing what the NP's are doing.

I was not impressed. The front desk was busy. No greeting, they did there job, but no friendly chatter. They briefly listened to me, but quickly dismissed my concerns. Were not very interested in my past history or experiences.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and now feel worse than I have in years.

My previous natural MD retired. I called and was told they could definitly handle Bioidentical hormones. They are not as skilled as they lead me to believe. I will not return.
