A very kind, empathetic, and helpful practitioner with many years' experience. She is completely supportive, and knowledgeable about workplace laws. My referral to her was through my employees' assistance program. I imagine she tailors her therapy sessions to individual clients' needs. Her style with me is more like conversational exchange. I have had Freudian therapy, eclectic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Helen utilized some of the latter techniques when we began our therapy, having me write down "assignments" to complete between two of our early sessions. She extends her training for continuing education with newer therapy methods and insights such as mindfulness. She is also a trained hypnotherapist.
