Having PTSD and severe depression I was told to see Timothy Kavanagh. I have seen over 6 different psychiatrists and counselors trying to have them help me figure out how to overcome overwhelming sadness, anxiety and fear in my daily life. Mr. Kavanagh was the only counselor that seemed to have empathy and the ability to help lead me to a better understanding of what was happening to me. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a counselor. He is patient, kind, emphatic, and truly a professional counselor.

As a current patient I have to say Tim is a very caring counselor. He is always genuine and very concerned about getting to the bottom of any issue and helping you solve the problem. With my experiences he has never forced me to think any one way like other counselors have, only options that may help. I feel he treats people as exactly that...people. Knowing that he as well has had up and downs in his life makes him very easy to open up to and he has never been judgemental. I thoroughly enjoy my appointments and always look forward to my next. I feel he has helped me grow as a human and a man leaps and bounds and will consider him a friend after our professional relationship comes to an end.

This couselor was referred by my company. He took a very proactive and broad approach to getting me the help I needed as quickly as possible. He was took my concerns very seriously and was very helpful in directing me toward the resources I need to get my health turned aound as soon as possible.
