I feel as though Merrick Boulevard Animal Hospital wasted my money without actually diagnosing my dogs health problem. I took my dog there when he fell ill because it is conveniently located near my home. Needless to say, Dr. Romero was rushed and seemed not to know exactly what he was doing. His main concern was hospitalizing my dog (more $$$$). After not being able to figure out what the problem was he did a blood test and prescribed antibiotics. A day after the medications stopped my dog was worse than he was before. He had vomitting, bloody diarrhea etc. Please don't waste your time or money at this horrible place.

Abusive, horrible facility. My dog came back from a check up (vaccine and blood work) extremely lethargic. The next day, I found gruesome bruises on her body. She has obviously been abused by this clinic. Please avoid this place. How can they call themselves an animal clinic when they abuse innocent animals. Horrible!!!
