My wife and I are "hobby farmers", we keep a small number of goats, pigs, chickens, etc., mainly to ensure that our children learn how to care for them, and because we just enjoy their company.
We are profoundly fortunate to have discovered Link Vet Associates. Dr. Robert Simmons has visited us a couple of times now, for some routine things, with the specific goal of teaching us how to handle the routine things on our own. He is all that one would want from a veterinarian: knowledgeable, skilled, and competent, and was furthermore extremely personable. What I most appreciate about his visits is that the entire time he was working, he was educating us: answering questions, giving advice, and just generally sharing anything remotely relevant. The rates were most reasonable, and frankly, I feel like we got our money's worth on the education alone.
I couldn't possibly be happier or more satisfied with the service we received, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Link Veterinary Associates in general, and Dr. Simmons in particular.
