Pinewoods has been very good to me and my two cockerspaniels...Dr. Mike has been outstanding in helping one of them survive and I am very thankful to him....my other one was seen by a different doctor because it was an emergency situation, and I had to put her down...I was in such shock because she was rarely sick and at the time did not ask many questions about her condition. However, after a few days I called the hospital to ask that doctor to explain what happened..I called FIVE times, and to the credit of the staff, they did write down that I did call. Well it has been almost three months and I still have not heard from him. To me the only negative is that I don't like the fact that a different doctor, with no real knowledge of my pets, has to be seen, instead of my "regular" doctor..Dr. Mike....this was the only disappointing experience I have had at Pinewoods. I know you can't expect to get your regular doctor in an emergency, but on the professional level, I would have thought that this other doctor would have gotten back to me.
