took our pet in for a routing neuter. pet was perfectly fine when he left home to only be returned with too much anesthesia in his system. he died 4 hours after coming home

My experience at The Bridgewater Vet was a 'Perfect 10'. Extraordinary people work there to take astronomical care of our friends & companions. William K. Wellman, DVM listened to me, used his expertise to diagnose & care for my ill cat, my best friend, Pumpkin. She loves her ‘kitty doctor’. I recommend you go to him, he’s the ONLY doctor you’ll ever need.

This man is an abomination and should not be practicing. He killed my dog. I contacted the Michigan Licensing board to file a complaint about him and they did investigate him and sanctioned him. They should have taken away his license. He is cruel and arrogant as well. Money-hungry. Selling bogus vitamins that he manufactures, illegally, without any ingredients....gives these out with antibiotics for ailments he does not understand and does not refer you to someone who does because he wants your money. He is a sociopath.

He is too old & arrogant to be practicing. He ordered labs for my dog who was not feeling well & did not bother to read them. This went on for several weeks. He ordered labs for my cat which he never offered any treatment or discussion. My dog died because of his negligence. He responded to my kind email and stated that he was glad she was being taken care of some place else because "he couldn't deal with me or my animals" and signed off "good luck." He knew my dog was the ICU and it was his negligence that allowed my dog to bleed to death over a 3-week period. He charged me 100s of dollars for this horrific veterinary 'care'. The ICU cost over $5000. But losing the life of my beloved dog was the worst tragedy & was totally avoidable. I called him & he stated that I could have seen the labs as well as him and, therefore, it was my fault. He thought emailing them to me was adequate care. He, then, hung up on me. I asked for compensation through his wife and there was nothing done by him.

Ever since I was younger my parents always took their pets here, and I take my cat there now as well. he doesn't beat around the bush or try to get me to get anything that's not necessary. He's a straight to the point country dentist, and I would recommend him definitely!
