Dr. Pentlarge is simply the best. She took care of our Shih Tzu mix,Chewie, for years. Chewie was a rescue and had a lot of issues. He only had one good eye. Dr Pentlarge removed the bad eye and performed cateract surgery on the other eye. It helped him tremendously. Before the surgery, Chewie would walk into things. It never happened again after the surgery. I will always come back with any of our fur babies, current and future.
My poodle was going blind from juvenile cataracts, Dr. Pentlarge removed them and put new lenses in her eyes and she had good vision for the rest of her life. She was six years old at the time and she lived to be 15. I have used Dr. Pentlarge for all my dog's eye problems and as a dog breeder and exhibitor that has been quite a few visits. I am no longer showing, but the last time I went in, I left with a new friend, a chihuahua puppy she had rescued that has become a much loved member of our family.
What are you kidding me right now. The local vet sent us couple hours away to Athens. My cat had a very rare eye condition in Cats called Entropion. Dr. Pentlarge was flying in from Af after working on some type of wild aniarrmal. We had to schedule our operation around her trip from Africa. That told me how serious she is about being an eye specialist on animals. Very good job on my cat!! She is the real deal when it comes to working on animals eyes!!!!
She was rude, abrupt and handed me a paper to read from, not wanting to talk to the owners. My nearly blind dog went to kiss her and she claimed it was going to bite her. She did the surgery and it was a mess!! His entropic vision left scars, his eyes were blue. I'll never use her services again.
