Horrible service the female veterinarian is extremely rude. I could have done a better job treating my puppy. She needs an attitude adjustment, there is a reason for her working with animals and not people. Overpriced! Take your business elsewhere.

I went to Airport West Animal Clinic because it is close to where I live. I hadn't had any reviews on the clinic. I went in to get my male dog neutered. Normally this is an overnight procedure, so that the dog comes out of the anesthesia, however, I was told to pick him up later that day. They told me he wouldn't require sedation at home, despite the fact that he was an active dog. I had to request a cone to keep him away from his stitches, and was told that I would have to watch him very closely. I followed all the instructions the veterinarian gave me. When I woke up the next morning, however, there was a hemorrhage, on the suture line, where the scrotum used to be. The hemorrhage was approximately the size of a golf ball. I immediately took him back to the doctor, where I was told I would only be seeing a technician because the situation didn't warrant the veterinarian. When I told them I wouldn't be seen by just a tech, they sent in the doctor, who proceeded to tell me that the hemorrhage was a very common and wasn't a big deal. That night I had to rush my dog to the emergency clinic because the hemorrhage was draining, yet not getting any smaller. My dog was crying and in severe pain, with blood running out of the suture line, and the hemorrhage now the size of a baseball. I decided I wouldn't be returning to Airport West for follow-up care, as they clearly did not care what pain their mistake had caused my dog. When I took my dog to another vet's office, I was informed that this type of hemorrhage is actually quite uncommon, and that if the surgery had been performed correctly, it never would've occurred. I was extremely upset by not only my treatment at the clinic, but their total disregard for the comfort and health of my pet.
