I had a small kink in my upper back. I went to Dumetz Chiropractic where I had a good experience many years ago. My first impression was the rude receptionist. She was dismissive and short. I said, "You're hostile." She said, "No, I'm not." "Yes you are, you're hostile." I completed the paperwork and paid the bill. I wanted to see Dr. Thomas but he was on vacation so I got Dr. Davis. I was led into a room where I got a deep (and uncomfortable) massage but it was okay. Dr. Davis came in to examine me. She wiggled my dangling legs and said ,"That's good." That's an examination? Davis then had me lay face down for the adjustment and said to let all the air out of my lungs and she smashed down on my back. I saw stars. She left the room and waited for me at the front desk. I think she had a smirk on her face and the receptionist was about to start crying. The receptionist asked if I wanted to come back and I said no. Although Davis said nothing I think she was teaching me a lesson calling her staff hostile. Even if I was being mean calling the receptionist hostile that's what I was sensing and Davis confirmed my impression of that office. She should have her license revoked. Awful experience. As far as the receptionist, I think she was reflecting the tone of Davis. Hostile employer equals hostile employees.
