The evaluation I received was not up to par. I've done a lot of research on the subject and spending less than 5 hours with someone is NOT adequate time to make a clinical diagnosis, especially since most of that time was spent with puzzles and a generalized questionnaire, as opposed to adult-level questionnaires (standardized, and this therapist should be familiar with them). No relationship or work history was taken, even though that was the main concern. No family was contacted, even though the evaluation was for a developmental syndrome. The therapist was not familiar with current leaders in the field, which was rather disappointing and frankly inadequate. I was also told, after THEY contacted my insurance company about payment, that I would be responsible for a certain percentage of payment, then was informed, after my evaluation, that insurance wasn't going to pay for it. Four months after my evaluation, I have not received an official write-up, even though I was told I would get it in October, two months ago. Very disappointing, I would not recommend at all.
