GET A COPY OF YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS FROM THESE HOSPITALS!!!I was a patient at St. Mary's mental care facility after a terrible mistake I attempted suicide and will never ever do that again but the care as a patient for the first time in my life at a place like this becasue you're Bakers Acted, which no one ever explains what's going on and they don't allow your family or loved one to be there the day they admit you...I think they don't want them to see how demoralizing and degrading the treatment is what you're first there.......they had me sign papers without my eyeglasses so I couldn't even read what I signed and didn't get a single copy of what I signed until I requested a copy of my medical file and saw the copies......they aren't even completely filled in but they have you sign it and the nurse who admits you.....much is left blank after you sign and not explained.....they had I lived alone.....I was married.....awful lies....that now I have to go through the process of having my records corrected due inefficiency...... Horrible care and only a rare few of the staff even cared. I am gluten intolerant and was sick every day from the food becasue they said to just watch what you take in the cafeteria but there was no way of knowing what was in the food...I was terrified after being threatend by a male patient and a female patient following me and harassing me but no one cared.......I was given a square hard box bed that was about 5 feet long and hard as a board to sleep on....Im 5'3 and it was impossible to sleep on with my arthritis, rods in my back, neck surgery etc....but no one cared except one male nurse who tried to get me an actual hospital bed after a few days....I am not an addict or alcoholic but they treat everyone there as if you are.....there were no classes like they said during the day and the TV was a free for all.....if you're there no one listens to you but my husband called everyday about my getting sick from the food and no one cared......it' was freezing cold and there was even a film of frost on the glass doors on the women's side.....I had 10 thin blankets on myslef at night and still froze....taking a shower and you were so cold but no one cared.....the women's rooms on the right side at the end of this one hallway was that freezing cold......you get there and they throw you the sheets and blanket and tell you to make the bed yourself and it was 2;00am......after coming from another hospital and being in intensive care and I needed a walker.........just horrible and now 3 years later im told none of the staff from 2017 is there now as if that makes a difference......when I saw my records from there the mistakes and falsehoods were astounding and I now have to legally get my personal file there corrected....that had surgeries listed I've never had, said I had a pacemaker and I don't as well as much more that was never asked of me nor did I say these lies to anyone so if you were a patient there go to medical records and request a copy of your medical file at that hospital.....they will give it to you becasue they have to by law and check everything !!!!!!!!! get your file from every hospital and check to make sure everything is correct and true, especially if you were at Traditions Hospital in Port St. Lucie, Fl there's a doctor there who terrorizes patients when no one's around and the hospital doesn't want to hear it or acknowledge that there's a problem.....I took aj polygraph test to prove my word against this doctor and passed but yet they don't care........he may lie about his name and the other man with him but I know what they look like and have found a photo of him to place with the long grievance I filed........beware of these hospitals!!!

One of the worst experiences in my life!! Don't ever let your love ones be placed here! This place should be shut down! It's like a 3rd world country!! You are treated like a prisoner of war! My fiancé had to hire an attorney to get me out of there! I believe due largely to the fact that I had good insurance!! Everyone from the nurses to the doctors were rude and did not care about your well being or your needs. They were there for the paycheck. If your not depressed before you get there, you will be if you are there longer than an hour. It's dirty, old and everything is out of date! The food is horrible! If you ask questions or inquire about anything, you will be there longer!!! The only kind person there is the unit secretary that had been there for over 30 years! I never felt safe there and it all over was one of the worst 5 days of my life!!!

This place is a joke. If you are there voluntarily or by Baker Act, beware you will stay longer unless you don't have insurance. Dr. Tanveer Kohban didn't listen to anything you had to say. I was there for detox and assumed I would be out in 72 hours. WRONG! BEWARE! The hypocratic states do no harm he was terrible had no bedside manner. Aweful. Do not go here

This Place is absolutely horrible. The staff was very cold to the patients and they treat you like your a criminal. All visitations are only 1 hr 45 mintues on Sat,Sun,and Wed in the cafeteria and you are monitored by a guard the whole time. They also confiscate your belongings before you go in to see the patient. And last but not least I had several items for a patient and left it to the staff to search the belongings and found out they stole money from my aunt's purse. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. Do not bring a loved one here. I will take further action regarding these matters.
