It serves its purpose--barely. There are no real beds, the food is atrocious, and the staff--especially doctors--range from rude to hostile and cruel.

I was sent here thinking it was an outpatient walk-in clinic. The intake woman misunderstood one of my answers to a survey question and put me on hold without good reason, because she wouldn't take the time to let me explain one on the multiple choice answers in the form. I was held for 24 hours without food because I'm a vegetarian and they didn't have time to accomadate that I guess. It was hours before I saw a social worker or doctor. In the time I waited I was ejaculated on by a complete stranger. There was another patient who followed me around the room masturbating and yelling at me in Vietnamese. When I tried to get help from staff they laughed about it and joked that someone had a crush on me. They yelled at me for crossing the yellow line when I was trying to get away from him. Finally I gave up and sat down crying and he pulled down his pants and finished. Staff pretend not to notice. I went to the bathroom to wash off and was attacked by a large woman wearing heart shaped sunglasses who was angry at me because she thought I raped her when she was 7. Every time I tried to use the bathroom she would burst through the lockless stall door again. Every chair I tried to sit in she would scream at me for sitting in her chair and throw anything that wasn't bolted down.
When I finally saw a doctor she had the audacity to ask me why I was so agitated.
The facility was filthy. Biohazardous conditions almost unavoidable with chairs that smelt like urine and vomit. One of the recliner beds had blood on it.
This place should be shut down.
