I just read that Dr. Mitra had his license suspended for giving out pain killers. Said it was beyond the scope of his license. This article was just written in October. If you can't reach him, that is why.

The Doctor left the country for an family emergency, he did not reach out to his patients, I found out word of mouth, he did not provide a covering doctor and he did not prescribe enough medication to cover the month or more he would be away. When I called the service for some help answering my questions I was forwarded to his service and a very unfriendly BOY named "Brian" treated me with disdain and disgust. Brian, is you see this, I call most people sweetie, it was not used in sarcasm or anger, I needed your help today and you pushed me off...look in the mirror Brian...I hope this is not you or one of your loved one some day, because I hope they are stepped on in the curb you discarded me into. Mitra is my doctor and I need help, but his staff treats patients like cattle, please please please do not use this facility. I am trying to find another doctor to help me with my issues..this is not the message me should be giving his patients, who by the way pay for the 11 minutes he gives them every 2 weeks. He has so many patients, he can not remember your name or affliction when he sees you, you have to remind him! I am currently looking for another doctor and I hope the next one has compassion and a caring heart!

The office staff is consistently unfriendly, the doctors uncaring, (they are dispensers of drugs basically.) The doctors do not honor appointments but make you sit and wait for them and then rush you out. Their parking is inadequate and as far as psychiatrists go, they are the most unhelpful, disinterested group and should be ashamed of themselves.
