I was there about 9 years ago when a person named Jimmy actually cared and was finishing graduate school. He knew the lady Margaret, and some man that was involved like he was in the veterans group. He did my psych. social and kept still in contact with me. He gave me FREE therapy when I was finished with DUIL . I'm now still sober and meet him for lunch. Bob Smythe

They had a man their named Jimmy, that really cared about the people has a Masters Degree in mental health, and co- facilitated the Veterans Group there. Everyone liked it. He did this FREE. I know him, he was told that they didn't need him there because they have enough veterans people. I here they have one or none. Why then wouldn't you want a FREE experienced volunteer? If interested email me, I will forward the email.

I am a pass graduate of this program jan 22 to feb 6 2012.. on jan 21 of 2014 I will have 2 yrs sober because of the things that I learned by attending this program.I would like to thank the staff and counselers for helping me in the beginning of my sobriety. This was the place that show the way out of my denial of alcoholism. You will only get out of this program what you put into it.

A complete waste of time. If you want to learn how to put a condom on a cucumber this is the place for you. Your one on one counseling sessions are performed by recovering addicts/alcoholics with no additional education or training. Just follow their rules and you will be OK, but you are not likely to gain any useful insight if you think you have a problem with alcohol. This program is something you have to endure for the court system.

I had to live here for 2 weeks due to my probation for DUI. You get classes about alcoholism and drug addiction every day. There are rules to live by or, if you're an asshole and don't want to do what they say, you get kicked out after paying $1,000. I was not one of these people. I wasn't going to lose my money over some bullshit. The counselors are recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. Heroin addicts. The thing I don't like is that you answer some questions on paper and if you answer yes to some of them, you're an alcoholic. Yes I've had issues with alcohol on occasions, especially drinking and driving, but to be told by a person who used to prostitute herself for drugs telling me that I am a serious alcoholic when she's only seen me for 2 weeks is bullshit. they do sit down with you individually, but I just think that my counselor jumped to conclusions because of what I answered on paper. These were multiple choice questions and direct questions that couldn't be modified. It's not that self-fulfilling. This place doesn't help you with your issues. You only go here because you have to or go to jail . No thanks.
