I have seen Jackie on and off through the years as I felt I needed counseling, she was ALWAYS there for me, one call I made to her was at 3am, and she was there to support me. Say what you want, but you won't find anybody better in this area.

During the initial (and only) appointment, she took four phone calls from family members. Proceeded to tell me very personal things about her life. Contradicted herself in statements. Would give vague responses, especially towards the end of the appointment, which made it perfectly clear that it was intentional in order to set up further appointments. Listed as a drug/alcohol counselor, but this is not her specialty and was surprised when I said that's what I had questions regarding. Wouldn't recommend in the very least.

My experience here was possibly my worst therapy experience of my life. I was dealing with extreme PTSD issues and she suggested I look into purchasing a gun, being well aware of my past suicide attempts and that I experience delusions when my PTSD is bad. She would also constantly take calls from her kids during the appointment, often screaming at them over the phone for extremely trivial things. This was not only extremely inappropriate but it was particularly jarring for me because I had come to her with issue I was having with my own mother. I don't think this person should be practicing at all. Years later and the months I spent with her still frustrate me.
