Although posessing the right credentials and having years of experience, this counselor advised my husband to leave our home after only two couples counseling sessions. She was too easily influenced by the stronger personality and did not really "listen" to or sense the real problems. No real solutions were offered and when we both said we felt like we were ready for divorce she offered no solutions or strategies. I know she meant well, but the experience was awful provided just enough feedback to my husband to convince him our marriage was doomed.
