Julie has difficulty connecting the dots to come to a diagnosis. She lacks the analysis skills necessary for diagnosing. I have a serious personality disorder and yet she wasn't able to Dx that -- even after 2 years.. When I went to a LCSW, that person was able to Dx my problem within a couple of months. Julie doesn't do a thorough family history intake to uncover deep-rooted issues. In my case, I had a very dysfunctional family - raging father and very permissive mother, yet Julie never explored any of that. Serious issues seem to be over her head.

I went to Julie for counseling for a year starting in 2012. She is an outstanding therapist. She helped me move on from an issue I'd been dealing with for 3 years, and I absolutely would not have been able to do so without her help. She is caring and kind, and I would recommend her to anyone who seeks a wise and compassionate therapist with many years of experience.

Julie is a nice lady but an inadequate therapist for complex issues, such as addiction and personality disorders. She offers little-to-no actual therapy. She's a marshmallow. She may be fine for dealing with more normal issues...marital issues, children issues, but if you have something more serious, she is completely out of her league. In this particular case, it took her nearly 3 years to insist that a raging alcoholic go into treatment...and that's after repeated black-outs, raging, and impulsive behaviors. She essentially collected thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars .....for doing nothing.

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.

No, they were ready for me right after I arrived.

Absolutely! I always get sound, helpful, and completely unbiased advice!

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only patient.

Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met
