In general they are not a practice I would refer anyone to. I know there are always you g to be good and bad reviews for a doctor. I would just really suggest doing your due diligence before going to this practice. It’s like getting married. You’re not just married to them but you’re sometimes married to their family. Here you don’t just marry the doctor you marry his horrible staff.

The staff is awful! If you have a mental illness or disorder I would recommend the doctor and the nurse practitioner,.But the office manager is horrible to people . She isn’t even just indifferent acting she is rude , condescending and just a general witch. To clarify, our family has used practice for roughly 20 years . Be warned if she does t like you she won’t refill your scripts. Oh, latest they violated HIPPA by sending my daughter’s statement in with my husband’s. She is not a minor and even if she was two separate patients two separate accounts. This same woman has also mixed up scripts when calling them in because husband and daughter take the same meds but different dosages. My daughter didn’t notice and got. really sick because of this mistake. I have lodged a complaint the state of Texas’ medical board . Lastly, I’m a therapist and would not refer any of my clients to this place just because of the staff .

I have been very pleased with the entire staff and doctors. The staff is efficient, friendly and timely in taking care of matters: making appointments, returning calls, accommodating schedules.
There is a warmness and welcoming feeling with the doctors. Sometimes there is understandably a wait, but the care I receive is well worth the the occasional wait. I never feel like they are "clock watching" and at times rushing you, like I have experience before. I also like that I have a specific goal and an affirmation with every visit.
In regards to psychotropic drugs: they are very thorough and knowledgable with drugs and their interactions with other prescriptions. They just don't scribe the current favorite one on the market and send you on your way---they work painstakingly to make sure it's right for you. Your road to recovery and success, I feel, is their mission.

I'd been going to a different psychiatrist and dreaded each visit. I'm so glad someone suggested Cornerstone. They by far are the most professional. At each office there is a frosted glass window between you and the receptionist. But here, they actually open the window and greet me when I walk up. Take something to do while you wait. Each time I have had to wait. I don't mind the wait because I know that when I get in there Dr. is going to also give me quality time. Dr. is VERY attentive and takes the time to listen. I don't feel like I'm part of an assembly line as I did the other office. For the most part the office staff has been very polite and helpful.

They didn't listen to anything I had to say! Whenever I tried to get a word in, they either interrupted me or cut me off before I could finish. As soon as I walked in the door, I noticed their credentials hanging on the wall. It immediately made me feel more confident that I was seeing someone who knew what they were talking about. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain.
