Please be aware that mary ulmer is not a psychologist, simply a counselor. She does not give advice; she simply gives orders and when you don't follow them she terminates " therapy". Her father was an alcoholic and if your husband is one she will demand you divorce him. Very unethical. Also, my grandson went to her at age 12, unbeknownst to me. Eventually, when I found out, I called her and told her that his father was physically and mentally abusing him. She wanted to know everything and then called the father and told him everything I said. To make a long story short I now have custody of my grandson. She is not only incompetent but dangerous.

Getting an appointment at this office wasn't too difficult. It seemed suspicious that they didn't display their credentials anywhere. If they have credentials, they should make them more obvious. When they started to give me advice that seemed biased, I began to doubt their motives. I didn't trust that they were giving me advice that would genuinely help me. I would not recommend Mary Ulmer if your having depression due to marital problems. She has difficulty remaining netural and gives her opinion on what to do. In my opinion she has caused my spouse and I more difficulties than help.
