My son was having problems at school. We came to have him diagnosed. Dr. Terry took her time with him and was very thorough in telling us everything they were going to do, what that meant and later, what all the results meant and what we needed to do to help our son, both at home and at school. Her work helped us get the IEP he needed at school and helped us know what our son needed at home as well as at school. Knowing why he was having problems and what caused them made it possible to help him and helped all of us understand why he was doing the things he was (not paying attention in class, extreme frustration, lack of understanding about personal space and social norms, etc). It made it easier to talk to his teachers and get him what he needed. I highly recommend Dr. Terry (she was highly recommended to me by a close friend who had used her for her own son).
