I met with the Wishnie DPM on two occasions and found him to be gruff. He makes poor eye contact and prefers to face his computer. He's patients is short and he thinks he's a conceded. I can't attest to his surgical abilities, but I found his bedside manner lacking and his overall disposition to be contrarian.

I had a severe bunion on my right foot. After consulting with Dr. Wishnie I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I expected to be in pain, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had complex bunion surgery and now have 5 pins in my foot. I only needed the pain medication for the first 3 days and haven't needed more than an occasional aspirin since. I was in a cast for 4 weeks and a boot for 2 more. After a few weeks of physical therapy, I am better than new. Dr. Wishnie is a talented surgeon. He remembers me when he sees me and has always been a simple phone call away.

I highly recommend him and his office.

There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care.

Not at all, I showed up early and they were ready to see me

Dr. Wishnie examined me and made me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! He was staring at my breasts the entire office visit, and I felt that he was touching me way more than necessary. If you are a woman or have a daughter DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE!!!!!!!


It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. They consistently dismiss my concerns and accuse me of making problems up. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. Everything I told them seemed to go in one ear and out the other. I didn't feel like they cared about what I had to say at all.

Dr Wishnie is a knowledgable podiatrist in the Piscataway area. He is very personable, and I would recommend him to my friends and family.
