I'm sorry to hear you had such a negative experience at our office. Overall, I find your review interesting. Not only do I, nor my staff, know who you are, but I never stand at the desk in the way described. There is also no mention of a pediatrician referring this child for endocrinological consult. As a standard, we don't see sick children for typical medical visits. We only see children who are referred by other pediatricians for endocrinological problems. Thus, if a parent brings a sick child to our office, we immediately refer them to their own pediatrician or urgent care. The well-being of every child is important to our practice.

With that being said, I don't know who you may be, but I wish you and your child the best.

Dear Parent,

I'm sorry you feel this way. Many parents report the opposite. Unfortunately, I don't know who you are, therefore I cannot respond to your specific concerns; however, I can tell you that we take pride in providing our patients a comfortable place to wait for their appointment. While our furnishings may not be brand new, we offer quality and well-maintained seating. In all honesty, we have never received this kind of complaint before, so I'm a bit surprised by it. Overall, it's our practice to answer every concern brought to our attention, and we ask each patient and parent numerous times if they have questions or need information. As far as not seeing a sick child, it's important to note that this is only a consultation office, and we do not see sick children in this office. I only see patients who are referred to me by other pediatricians. The child's primary care physician handles the child's sick visits, which is normal protocol. If the child's primary care physician feels the child needs to be seen for urgent endricrinologic concerns, the doctor can directly contact me through my office or my cell phone. I can assure I will see a child within 24-48 hours.

With that being said, I'm sorry if my intentions were somehow misread and encourage you to call my office to clear up any misunderstanding that may have occurred.

Not at all; the equipment is dangerous!
If your child is sick can the pediatrician see him/her on the same day?
Definitely not. My child usually isn't seen for over a month

I am so disappointed in my experience with this doctor! First of all the wait time is hours!! Which if my overall experience with the doctor was good I wouldn't really mind that much.... Second, the staff is so nasty the girl that is always there is so unprofessional and RUDE, I had a question regarding my son as his insurance was in the process of renewing I offered to pay for the office visit and girl at the front told me she would have to ask the doctor how much it would be, I asked to speak to her the doctor wouldn't even speak to me as I requested a minute of her time she rudely called to the front and told the girl to tell me appointment will be cancelled as I was standing right there. This is children, how do you turn a child away even after I wanted to pay for the visit and not have the decency to speak to me?? I have never had such a bad experience as I did here and the worst part is how unprofessional they really are. In the end these are our children.... How do you turn away a child!! You should be ashamed of yourself!
