This is a great office and terrific dentist. I have been a patient now for about 3 years. I came to Dr. Abel because of a dental emergency. I was referred by my medical doctor at the Mt. Kisco Medical Group. He highly recommended Dr. Abel telling me that this is the dental office that most of the doctors use at the group. If it was good enough for my doctor, it was good enough for me. Well, it was better than I had expected. I was treated better than I had ever been in any dental office in the past. The staff was kind, caring, and everyone was so thorough and gentle. I now bring my entire family to Dr. Abel for their care too. I just had some veneers placed, and my new smile looks amazing. Just had to share my experience because I know that there are very few good dentists out there. Dr. Abel is by far, one of the best. Thanks to him and his staff for great care as usual!

Definitely! They would never turn away anyone in need

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

They didn't explain my dental procedure to me at all, even after I asked for an explanation. I was very nervous about having a procedure done that I didn't know anything about. It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. The staff is incredibly rude and seem to care more about themselves. They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. They made no attempt to follow up with me after my appointment. It isn't a big deal, but it does say something about the overall atmosphere of the office. I had to wait a while after I arrived for my appointment. The staff didn't even keep me updated about how much longer it would be. Most of all, the dentist (Dr. Able) is so far behind the times. He has not kept up with the latest technology. He exposed me to old style x-ray's claiming that they are better than the latest digital ones. Even though, his own website clearly stated that the digital style is much safer for the patient and has 95% less radiation. So why didn't he use the digital? Obviously, he doesn't put the patients safety first. He doesn't admit that he probably doesn't have a digital x-ray machine. I was disgusted at the fact that this man gets upset when you ask questions too. I guess he feels that you are questioning his authority. He has a stone age dental education and doesn't appear to want to change with the times even though it would benefit his patients.
