This hospital is located in the hospital district- but it seemed safer & better than the other hospitals in the area. I've been to some other hospitals where I was scared to get out of my car. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. It seems like a boutique-style hospital. The nurses are very warm.
They didn't listen to anything I had to say! Whenever I tried to get a word in, they either interrupted me or cut me off before I could finish. Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. I don't think they have any qualifications! There definitely wasn't anything displayed. It has been 10 months since I had an MRI and they still have not scheduled an appointment to go over it, even though I have called them repeatedly aabout it - I am ignored. They apparently do the MRI to get the Medicare payment, but not to provide information or care to the patient. I called and complained and they said they would get right back to me, but several more months have passed and still no call.
