The care Ive received here has been great. Karen, Melinda, John and David on the 5th floor are really good nurses who do a great job taking care of me. The aides are really good too. Especially Kim. They all know what to do, I never have to tell them how to do this or that.
I left here and went to another facility and I came back to get better and get better service. I would recommend this hospital. They took great care of me.
Excellent care all the staff was excellent. I appreciate everything that all of them did and want to say thank you for all that they did. I wanna say God bless and I'll stay in touch.
Kindred did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. I gave them a 5 because you can tell that everyone cares and is happy to help, it's not just a job.
Due to my many health issues, I've been in a lot of hospitals over the last year. Kindred Louisville has been the best hospital that I've been in. My hospital journey started in Lexington, near my home. Prior hospitalizations include Baptist (Lexington), University of Louisville Hospital and Baptist Hospital (Louisville). Most were very unpleasant experiences from the nurses to the doctors to the rooms. The doctors never agreed on anything. They didn't have teamwork, even within the same hospital. Kindred made my goal (to get back home), their goal. A care manager told me every week the doctors and special departments meet as a team to discuss what's best for their patients. There was no evidence that this ever happened at the other hospitals who treated me. There is NOTHING bad I can say about Kindred. Everything was the best in treating me. Thanks to everyone at Kindred for working together to get me home!
My daughter was in Kindred Louisville for 4 months. She was discharged from the 5th floor in late Match to a rehab facility. I want to let the administration of Kindred know how much I appreciated the kind treatment we both received. Jackie at the front desk always pleasantly greets every visitor. This kindness is especially appreciated by people who are in their own private pain. My husband passed away November 3, and my daughter has been in the hospital since the day of his burial. So I came to Kindred grieving over his death and the possibility of losing her as well, However, God has sustained me and given me the strength and hope to carry us on. He always has, through every crisis of my life. I especially want to let you know that two nurses who took care of my daughter have done so in a manner above and beyond the call of duty. Scott and John are the RNs. Her medicine was always given spot on - they were compassionate - gentle in the way they moved her and I could not have asked more of any nurse than what these two men did. Barbara, the nursing supervisor is a very smart innovative, thoughtful and kind person and I appreciated her so much. And Monica the receiptionist is definitely a people person and in the exact right position. I appreciated Dr. Baker, but didn't get to know him as well of course as I did the nurses because of his limited time. And his assistant, Lynn - do you know how fortunate you are to have that woman there? She was kind, willing to talk and spend time and I knew there was a genuine concern for her patients. I had a problem with only one nurse and looking back, feel that the fault was probably mine because I was under a lot of stress. She had made an error, but then so do I - hospitals are no more exempt from human error than I am, or any other institution. Thank you all and to every other nurse who may have cared for my daughter less often. Dr. Aktar is a jewel in your crown by the way - a sweet humble man, but extremely brilliant. I will miss these wonderfully kind and caring people. Joyce
I was there from mid February to early March. Good place to get better and finally go home with home help arranged by the hospital. Fred the care manager was my guy. Thanks Fred and all the departments who nursed me back to health!
Very happy with care. Everyone caring and concerned for mother's wellbeing. I appreciate each of you. Especially the three therapists who worked with mother. We were very pleased with the skill of respiratory therapy and physical therapy. They're wonderful. The best! Nurses and aides as well as the social worker - best! Thank you to all involved. You have no idea how much your care meant to my family.
My sister had two wonderful staff members take care of her yesterday at Kindred! Celeste was her nurse and Eddie was the nurses aide. They are both very good at what they do, and made it a positive day for all of us. Even her visitors noticed the great level of care provided by Celeste and Eddie. I wanted to recognize them for a job well done. Thanks.
