I read these good reports about this office and Dr. well I went and gave them a try because they were the closest to my home. I normaly go to a Dr about 20 miles from home. I ordered my glasses on Dec 1st 3 pair, My own personal , my wifes , and my work glasses. they said it would take a week to ten days to get them. on the 14th of Dec I called and they said they were not in. I waited another week and caklled on the 21st then they said yes they came in on the 11th, So why didn't they just tell me they were in a week earlier? I go to pick them up and they said the work glasses were not in. I have called every week and they still are not in on Jan 18th. No way I will ever go back after I get my glasses , And I did not have to pay for the work glasses my plant pays for them so for 2 pair of glasses and I have insurance I had to pay $787 after the insurance. At my old Dr for basicly the same thing I only had to pay around $300. So guess where I will be next time!!!! Don't Go.

They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy when seeking eye care. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding.

While I was satisfied with the service I received at Family Eye Care Center - Laurens, I was VERY disappointed with the cost. I called ahead and asked how much a contact lens exam cost and was told $60-90. When I went to pay my bill came to $231! I was told that the contact lens exam was $70 but that you couldn't have a contact lens exam without an annual check-up exam (which was not more inclusive than what Walmart or Sam's Club does for a contact lens exam for $80) that apparently cost $161. Even though I was happy with the service, I will not go back due to high cost.

The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience.

They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance.
