Dr. Farris offers excellent care for animals. He is honest and concerned about the animals overall quality of life. He doesn't try to drive the cost up, he tells you the facts.

Have used him for 7 years. He does not rip you off with high prices. He will do you right. My dog had to stay in his 24 hour for therr days and he saved my dog.

I used Dr. Farris for 15 years until my last visit. I had heard things before but never experienced anything bad until this visit. When he could not control my terrified 13 year old dog, he shoved the dog's face into the exam table and grabbed his neck, pushing down on his throat with both thumbs so hard that my dog (hollering terribly the whole time) vomited and urinated on the table. When that didn't work, he tried, unsuccessfully, to muzzle him. He gave up, picked the dog up, and dropped him onto the floor, at which time the dog defecated. He then said, "We'll just skip this one!" I asked if he was going to at least give him his rabies shot and he replied, "He's too old and frail! And I'm telling you, if he bites somebody without the shot, you are in a heap of trouble!" I can't believe he abused an already terrified dog the way he did. I have filed a complaint with the state board. If you love your pets, don't let this man touch them!

Look people- Dr. Farris is a no frills kind of guy. Yes, his personality isn't the greatest, but he's a great vet and cares for the animals. His prices can't be beat and he doesn't add extras for tons of money like Banfield.

Total jerk. I have no idea why this man is a vet. He has ZERO patience with scared animals and is extremely rough with them. He was so rough with one of our dogs that he has subconjunctival hemorrhage. I'd rather pay a little more and have my animals treated with kindness. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
