Dr. Link clearly has the best interest of the animals he serves in mind. We have taken cats and dogs of all breeds to him, and he has treated us with respect and care. One thing to note is that Dr L is a little rough around the edges, which I found to be a good thing. Don't misunderstand, he is courteous and caring, but he clearly spends a good portion of his time in the field working with animals (he has a large animal practice as well as small animal). The fact that he gets out of the office and works directly with the owners and animal-patients is a good thing in my estimation. The only downside to that style of practice is that the hours vary day to day, so making an appointment more than a few days in advance is not possible. That being said, I've never had any trouble getting in to see him same-day, or next day. He has also made house calls to my in-laws for their large breed dog. Dr. L is a good, and highly recommended vet.
