I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like people should know another side of visiting Dr. Kennedy's vet clinic. Although the staff and vet techs are very friendly and helpful I cannot say the same for Dr. Kennedy. He is rough, quick with his consultation and quite frankly, lacks compassion and finess. As soon I brought my pet in, the vet techs took him away and did the stool sample. They barely said hello and didn't even tell me what they were taking him away for. I would have liked a little more prep as to what they were going to do and perhaps they could do it in front of me. Anyway, I let that slide and Dr. Kennedy came in and tried to explain what was wrong with my cat. His voice is loud and overbearing and he has no finess at all. He gave me a list of 3 medicines I had to purchase and I asked him how much they cost (fair question I thought). He gave me a look like he had never been asked that question before, like "how dare I ask him that". He said "do you want the medication or not". I was so alarmed that some one would talk to me like that. I mean, going to the vet is expensive and all I wanted was to know the price so I could brace myself for the final bill. I explained to him that I was a student and I just wanted to know the price. He quickly finished up the "consultation" and I was shown to the front where I could pay for my medication.
I have been to vets before and I understand that they're super busy and they see the same things all the time, but seriously, I have never dealt with such rudeness. And, is it too much to ask that you know the price of what you prescribe?

I have since switched vets and I am much happier.
If you want your pet to have a good vet experience (especially because it was my pet's first time) and a patient and compassionate vet, do not go here.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. All my questions were answered, and I left knowing that my dog was in good heath.. The office is very easy to locate. I I would highly recommend them to someone looking for a qualified and caring vet.
