To many charges there's no way I can afford to save my pet now after they took all my money... Worst clinic ever, unprofessional, made me feel like I'm the reason my cat was sick and I should have to pay the fees for her survival, unfortunately I literally spent my last dollar to watch my baby suffer

They killed my cat and wouldn't even take my phone call to talk about it. These people are horrible.

Their pricing was outrageously high. I was shocked and appalled at how much the bill was when it was time to pay. The veterinarian wouldn't even allow me to stay with my pet the whole time. They took my terrified pet to a different room and I couldn't go with for some reason. My pet would have been much calmer If they had allowed me to go. I felt bad for my pets because they were so anxious to leave, I've never experienced a reaction like that before. The veterinarian didn't even do anything to try to calm them down. The staff here is super rude and not welcoming at all. They would rather talk amongst themselves than to any clients! I wouldn't take my pet back here- the equipment they used was outdated and dangerous.
THE worst vet experience i have ever been to. Dr. Williams was extremely rude and unprofessional!! If you care about your pet and his/her well being....you should not go take them to this vet hospital! Unless of course...you like to be talked down to, spoken rudely to, and want your pet mistreated. I have never been to a vet that did not allow you in the room when they were examining them...Im sorry, but would you let your 5 year old go back into a doctors examination room while you sat in the waiting area??? I think not. And when I demanded that i was to accompany my dog, she charged me additional for me to be there!! What kind of customer service is that? Not to mention the continuous rude comments she made to me the entire time! I had my doberman puppies ears cropped by a great vet down in wildwood fl which is about 2.5 hours from where I live and was having to take her back down south every10 days to get them re-taped. It became too much and too long of a drive to continue taking off of work every other week to do this simple task. I called around to multiple vets in the saint Augustine area to ask if they taped ears....I then finally found Animal Emergency Hospital of St Johns and was relieved that I no longer had to drive so far. The first time i took her to get her ears re-taped she taped them too tight and when I went back to get the tape removed, that's when we discovered that my puppy's tip of her right ear was almost dead from a lack of blood flow due to the tape being too tight....she cutoff the circulation. We then had to wait day with her ears down so the bloodhound flow back to the tip of her ear and pray that it was not too far gone. Her ear became very lack and crusty and now does not stand up straight at the tip. Took her back to dr. Williams the next day and she taped them back up...she never apologized. (Ears re-taped costs $25 btw). Approx 5 days later took her back to check on her ears and come to find out she taped her ears too closed up and now my poor puppy had a terrible yeast infection with gooey blackish brown gunk coming out of her ears in clumps. She told me it was normal but it seemed very extreme to me. (Oh and btw she said i could not go back with the dog while she tapped them) i found that to be very odd and felt extremely uncomfortable with the situation. And then the fateful day (today) that was that last straw that broke the camels back was when i took my doberman back to get the tape replaced and demanded that i be in the room with her while she did it as I was concerned that the tape would be too tight. She uneducated and unprofessional woman at the front desk said that dr Williams was going to charge me $40 then because she would have to do it in one of the front exam rooms instead of the back. Didnt make sense...but for $15 more dollars rather than pay the usual $25 I thought...fine, at least ill be with,y dog and make sure it gets done the way i expect. I had a 445pm appt and she made me wait an additional 30 minutes because i wanted to go with the dog. When she finally called us back, she never once said hello or utter one word to me. As she was about to tape up her ears and politely asked that it not be so tight this time to allow air in her ears so the yeast infection could start to heal and her ears wouldn't be so nasty inside. And her EXACT response was "her ears are going to have a yeast infection, they WILL be nasty, and NEXT time you can take the dog back down south to get them re-taped" I was absolutely appalled by her response!!!!!! I didn't say anything directly afterwards as I did not want her to mess up my dogs ears even more than she already had, so I held in my fury until she was done. IMMEDIATELY after she had put the last piece of tape on, she said nothing and walked out. I then went to the front desk to pay the usual $25 re-tapping fee and the rude woman out front says..."okay it will be $80 today". Excuse me....what???!! I asked why it was not the normal $25 and she said "that is what dr Williams told me to charge you" i was so furious! She asked to schedule the next appointment and I said oh absolutely not!!! This is THE worst animal hospital i have ever been to and I will NOT be taken advantage of like this, nor will I have my dog go to a vet that is extremely spiteful, rude, unprofessional and seemingly inexperienced with such simple tasks. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS RECHID PLACE!!!! on a scale of 1-10...with no exaggeration....I seriously give it a -5!!!!!!! Horrible place of existence!!!

I wish I had seen these reviews before I brought my cat there to be spayed. She caught feline Parvovirus while there and was dead a week later. They won't return my phone calls to discuss what they did. How disgusting they are!!! How can you dare to say you provide compassionate care??? Anyone who has had a good experience with them better count their blessings and run. Because their hospital isn't cleaned properly, the virus remained alive and my cat came in contact with it while there for surgery. Or worse, they claim to be "sterile" during surgery, you have to wonder. Again, these people are heartless. BEWARE if you take your pet there. You might want to check to see if there are any complaints against their licenses with the state or with the BBB. I wish I had.

Best veterinary practice BY FAR IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! If you love your companion animal, consider getting them the best medical care for the fairest price by the loving and dedicated staff at Animal Emergency Hospital! They're unbelievably caring and go above and beyond not only in medical care but in customer care. No matter what time of the night and what the situation they always have a smile on their faces and treat you and your animal companions like part of the family. I would pack up and follow the practice wherever they went of they ever moved! But please don't, the real estate market is awful right now! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!
Sloppy puppy kisses from Violet Maxine, Kairos Second Chance, Juliet, and Simba!

They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. Wow is all I can say about them. I have seen some vets become callused and unemotional but you will not find that here. The veterinarian and staff are extremely friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals. My pets love it here and they are never anxious to leave (however it could be due to all the fun treats they get) . They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
