DR. DENNARD WAS THE BEST AND SO WAS HIS STAFF. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AND HIS WIFE. THEY BOTH LOVED ANIMALS AND SO DID THEIR STAFF. REST IN PEACE THE JOB HERE IS DONE. TAKE CARE OF ALL GOD CREATURE IN HEAVEN NOW AND LOVE THEM.
We are so grateful to be able to see Dr. Ivey Dennard and Dr. Valerie Reynolds at the Gordon Animal Clinic!! We would not go anywhere else- IN MIDDLE GEORGIA, THEY ARE THE BEST AT HELPING ILL OR WOUNDED ANIMALS WHO NEED THEM!!! These fine vets and the amazing staff here go above and beyond, always- they truly care about each one that comes in. We trust them implicitly, and especially during these stressful social distancing times when we pet owners must wait to be seen by our own doctors, it’s SO good to know our beloved pets can still get excellent medical care in an emergency situation! It happened to us just three days ago, when one of our rescued pups got into an argument with another and received two open head wounds late in the afternoon. Pearlie got an overnight stay, surgery and stitches, done with care and expertise, a supply of antibiotics to go home with, a fabulous head-dressing and instructions to return for a no-charge removal of stitchwork in two weeks. All this, and they charged barely enough to cover their expenses. You could not ask for a kinder, better place to come to. They take no appointments, so be prepared. They are SO worth the wait!! Kudos to the Gordon Animal Clinic, and the fine folk there that help us all!!!
I don't have the words to say how grateful I am to Dr. Valerie Reynolds for the awesome job she did in removing the fatty tumor from my 11-year-old Rat Terrier. Her love for Buddy and the love he showed for her put my nerves to rest. He was trembling uncontrollably when we went into the exam room and as soon as Dr. Valerie touched him, he immediately stopped shaking. He had surgery that afternoon and I picked him up the next day. It was like nothing had happened and he had the biggest smile on his face. Monday will be a week since the surgery and, so far, Buddy has not slowed down one iota. He is in his regular routine and recovering beautifully.
My love, suzy, was there for 4 days. They tried everything to save her, however; she was in sùch pain, her body was shutting down I was allowed to not only be there to hold her during her departure, but had held her and spoke of my love and whispered it was okay for her to go.She had her left ear perked during my visit so I know she heard me.I know she is with GOD,but the hurt is so horrible. My daughter and son in law showed understanding. The staff and vet, beverly, were so nice.please if u need a clinic for your pets, this place is worth the drive.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Dennard for over 35 years, and for 28 of those years have lived over 2 hours away. When gas prices were really high, it was hard to justify the trip, but my sister and I would pile all of our animals in a truck and make the annual trip together to cut those gas costs. Even when my dog was hit by a car on a Sunday afternoon, I gave him pain meds and took him to Gordon the next day. Dr. Dennard's assessment of his injuries and recommended care were right on target. You would never know that the dog had ever had 11 breaks in his pelvic area. He runs and plays with great enthusiasm and has no apparent residual problems. After 35+ years, I have many such stories to tell, but will sum it all up with "I trust his knowledge and expertise greatly; the man is amazing."
