I have worked in the animal care field for over twenty years and have had multiple pets my entire life. I was very aware of my dog going through an Addisonian Crisis and rushed her to the emergency. I explained her condition and what she needed, unfortunately no one would listen. It took multiple requests to even get the DVM to come in and speak with me. The assistant just kept coming in and saying they needed to run all these tests and blood work to proceed, but could not explain anything further.

Finally, when the DVM came in she stated the clinic did not even have the medicine needed for my pet, big waste of time. Luckily my dog pulled through the night and she got in first thing to see her regular vet.

It's a very strange atmosphere at the Animal Emergency Hospital, we had to carry our dog in (80lbs) and they refused to let us carry her to an examination room, they made her walk. Then when I refused to leave her overnight and wanted to take her, they would not let me go and physically pick her up, they had staff carry her out the back door to my car, leaving me with the words "you know she could die tonight!" Which was not only an unprofessional and insensitive things to say, but what were they going to do, they did not have the injection she needed.

If you have the opportunity to go somewhere else I advise you to do so. I also requested my regular vet not have this emergency listed as a place to go after hours.

Absolutely not. I was forced to call the emergency room.
Did this provider ever postpone your appointment?
Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible

No, they are really great about answering the phone right away

Yes, the office was well organized and taken care of

I had a terrible experience with this Hospital and the Dr. Who owns this practice. They burned my female during a routine surgical procedure, made a commitment for her aftercare and then would not honor it. I would never recommend this vets office to anyone.
