My Vet, my friend Old school, honest, compassionate Just a damn good old guy I used him dog about 40 yrs.

Were the kennels and holding areas clean?
Absolutely, the kennels and holding areas were some of the cleanest I have ever seen

Yes, they are so amazing. They will come to the office after-hours for any emergency

I waited longer than I wanted to, but it wasn't terrible

No, there weren't many to choose from

I am mourning, My vet & My friend !! Dr.Gibson was like family to my family, and will be forever missed... I can say that I am so very thankful for him and the years he's given us, he has been here for me and my cats since the very start in every way... we will miss his crazy jokes and endearment.

Dr. George E. Gibson ATLANTA - Dr. George Edward Gibson, age 72, beloved son, husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully July 3, 2012, after a valiant fight with ALS. His life was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his sense of humor will be greatly missed. Born in Florence, SC on November 11, 1940, Dr. Gibson attended Clemson College and graduated from the University of Georgia receiving both his BS and DVM degrees. His life was dedicated to the practice of Veterinary Medicine in the Atlanta area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James Gresham "Doc" and Mary Martha Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Monroe Gibson; sons, George Edward Gibson, Jr., Mark Monroe Gibson, and Christian Moore Gibson; four grandchildren; Thomas Robert Gibson, George Edward Gibson III, Samuel Monroe Gibson, and Lizzie Diane Gibson; and a brother, James Gresham Gibson, Jr. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at A. S Turner and Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, GA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 5365 Memorial Dr., Stone Mountain, GA 30083.

I LOVE Dr George Gibson and Peggy, his gal Friday. They have saved me thousands with REASONAB LE care----I get each pet vaccinated for 61 bucks and this includes feline leukemia shot. They may not have a fancy waiting room but Dr George is simply the BEST. And if you want to pay for that fancy waiting room you go on and find you a nice EXPENSIVE vet---they won't be as good as Dr George!

They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
Absolutely not! I was a complete wreck waiting by the phone
Is this provider easy to reach in an emergency?
Absolutely not. I was forced to call the emergency room.
Did this provider's staff seem to respect him/her?
Absolutely not. They were always complaining about him/her
Was this provider's office clean?
No, I didn't feel comfortable at all

Yes, It was extremely convenient and well kept
