Dr. Larry Kysar is the best veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is a brash guy, but he honestly cares about the animals that he treats. This is why he yelled at the guy above. The reviewer was not an animal care specialist, and because he put his animals at risk. The cause of the dogs adverse reaction is either because the vaccinations the owner provided were over attenuated or 'watered down'. Odds are the dog received a real vaccine for a change or it wasn't accustomed it. I highly doubt that Dr. Kysar provided him with a bad vaccine seeing as if this would have happened, it would have be noted by other veterinarians who received them. I know for a fact he uses the same suppliers that the vets use in Tulsa and OKC. Even in the event the dog had a reaction, that is not the veterinarian's fault.. that would be up to the distributor / pharmaceutical company who developed it.
With that said, Dr. Kysar has been board certified with no complaints since 1979. The man has literally seen it all. Don't let the idiot above scare you.
I looked Mr Kysar up in the phone book to see if I should bring my dog to him. I have been giving my dogs thier own shots for years. Today, my white lab had an adverse reaction to the shot I have her. When he answered the phone, he was very rude and stated, "this is an emergency line, and its Sunday" like it was a huge inconvenience for me to call when HE listed the number in the book. He was very unprofessional. He went on to say that what I was using was "crap" and I "poisoned my baby" instead of giving me the medical advice I was look for. In the Bristow Oklahoma phone book it says "treating your pets like family". If that's how he treats his family, I'd hate to see how actually does treat his and my pets. I'll never use or recommend him.
