I... just yesterday (10-1-15) had my" Baby Cat" fixed. I was nervous because I had never left any of my pets at this office before. As I handed my kitten to an assistant she began talking to her.... that made me feel more comfortable about leaving her. My animals are my "babies" and love them very much. I know after picking her up today, being greeted by the Dr. himself, explaining all details and how things went, I will go back to this clinic with no doubts! I LOVE County Wide Animal Clinic. Dr. Schone doesn't do expensive tests just for the sake of doing them. I feel my animals always get great care.

The chairs in the waiting room were the cheap plastic kind. My back started to hurt while I was waiting. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. They have a reputation of not being very good.
I wanted to add to the other post that this vets office is the reason our animal died. It was a very traumatic experince that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I am reporting to this company to the BBB and the Board of Vets of Indiana. The do not know how to keep a proper medical record on an animal and are very neglectful as well. I miss our animal more than I can put into words.

I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. I couldn't believe that no food or water is made available for the animals here. The last time I was there my poor pet was practically dying of thirst. I wouldn't take my pet back here- the equipment they used was outdated and dangerous. They seemed stuck in the past. I was nervous about being exposed to archaic treatment methodsreviewed in the last week
If I could give this place a ZERO I would. Dr. Schoene almost killed our lion head rabbit and is not taking responsibility for his actions. The office staff is rude and does not like to hear what their customers have to say when they are asking questions about their animal. We were told not to force feed our rabbit when he didn't eat for almost 48 hours due to the information that we were given from this vet and his staff which was to not force food on him, they weren't sure if we were able to pick him up because of where the neutered site was, and said to not let him have a lot of food and water for the first few days home. After doing our research, we found out that ALL RABBITS cannot throw up which means that they are not like other animals and have to eat all the way up to their surgery and right after they awake from surgery, and if they haven't eaten within few hours of waking, that the vet should be notified because that can mean something is wrong. When we couldn't get ahold of the vet's office a day after bringing him home we had no choice but to feed our lion head through a syringe because all he was doing was drinking water and refusing to eat. Monday morning when I finally got ahold of someone at this vet's office the lady on the phone got very rude and asked why we didn’t call Friday and Saturday because they were in, which I notified her that we did and couldn’t get ahold of anyone and even tried to leave a message on Sunday but their answering machine just hung up on us. The lady at the vets office got rude again and said that he's not supposed to have a lot of water or food then put me on hold to talk to the vet which had us drive an hour to them to give our lion head a vitamin shot (without letting us know what type of vitamin it was) After that our lion head rabbit didn't eat, drink water, or urinate the entire night or next day. On Tuesday I called and talked to Dr. Schoene who got rude when I said we were having to force feed him because he would not eat and the vet's response was "we don't need to be force feeding him because then he won't want to eat on his own". I then responded with "I am not going to let him go another day without food" and Dr Schoene responded with "well if you have to force feed him only do it at night and that is it or he will never eat on his own again." After that I called our dog's vet who wasn't comfortable with answering questions about a rabbit but referred us to a vet that deals with exotic animals. Our lion head rabbit almost died to the neglect and incompetence of this vet DR.SCHOENE AND HIS OFFICE STAFF and even though our lion head is doing better because of a wonderful vet who is doing everything they can to save him, he is still not out of the woods yet. Dr. Schoene never told us that he rarely deals with rabbits, but agreed to neuter ours without offering up that information. Had we had known that he doesn't neuter rabbits on a daily basis, we would HAVE NEVER GONE HERE. But we trusted him and he almost killed not only our 9 YEAR OLD SON'S FIRST PET BUT ALSO A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!! When my fiancée' called and talked to Dr. Schoene today and said that he needs to be responsible for the bill for fixing his (Dr. Schoene's) mistake, Dr. Schoene said he was real sorry but he can't do that. So needless to say his $60 mistake, negligence and incompetence to our lion head rabbit has led to us having to pay out additional $423 to another vet that actually has to fix Dr. Schoene's mistake. If we would have known that he does not deal with rabbits on a daily basis, we would have NEVER taken our baby lion head to him. CONSUMERS BEWARE OF DR. SCHOENE!!!!!!!

Unbelievabley gentle, it is very apparant they truly care about pets well-being and comfort

Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time

Extremely friendly, I could really tell his/her love for animals.
Were the kennels and holding areas clean?
Absolutely, the kennels and holding areas were some of the cleanest I have ever seen
