A very long time ago, during marriage counseling he suggested to my now ex that I could have all sorts of mental issues because I was (understandably) angry. My ex "ran" with that because it absolved my ex of his actions.. My ex spread this to EVERYONE in our family, including our young children. I have been dealing with the aftermath since then. He is just a SW. He can not diagnose a mental illness. He can only put down a diagnosis code for billing purposes. Anyone involved in health care knows that a true diagnoses comes from interaction and clinical assessment over a long period of time, with the consensus of at least a couple of psychiatric MDs . What he did was dangerous and cruel. He fed into my ex' s dysfunction and cruelty.
