Sue Benskey was my counselor about 40 years ago. So glad to see she is still helping people. She was comfortable, genuine, accepting, truthful, gentle. I could probably go on and on, but she walked me through some very difficult stages in my life and I am so grateful for her. Though it's been quite a while, I am certain she has only gotten better at loving on people.
Don't know if she would even remember me, but she brought in a Raggedy Ann doll for me after I told her of a time in my life that Raggedy was basically my only friend. Amazing how that touched me. Every session afterward, I held on to Raggedy while we talked.
Thank you, Sue. My heart still remembers you all these years later.
