My ex-wife and I went to see Jerry Boudreaux for counseling because we wanted counseling with an air of Christian understanding and the extra element of peace this might bring to the sessions. The first session seemed as if it might be helpful. He introduced us to the book “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman. This book is wonderful, by the way, and I highly recommend it. However, after reading the book I realized that Mr. Boudreaux’s first session amounted to nothing more than a guided tour of this book. By the third session he had decided that our marriage was not valid due to his particular religious beliefs, and the sessions that were supposed to help us save our marriage deteriorated to Mr. Boudreaux fueling the fire of our discontentment and actually becoming involved in our custody issue.

Not only did he utterly fail to help us save our marriage, I would say he was a major catalyst in ending it. If you and your spouse seek serious professional help for your marriage, be warned, this person is to be avoided. He is unprofessional in his approach, and you will likely come out of his sessions worse than you went in. Do yourselves a favor and seek the help of a legitimate professional.typical elevator music on. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice.
