She told me to see her after my life became more stable. I wanted to see her because my life was unstable. I guess she only sees patients whose lives are unstable.
Sheila is a lovely individual but a very hands-off therapist. She seems to lack the heart or head space to intervene in therapy and steer her subjects positively. She is a good listener but a poor communicator and not well suited to therapy, particularly with couples. She seemed distant, remote and detached during sessions and not emotionally engaged (a serious failing in a therapist). Finding good therapists is never easy but I can atleast recommend diligent and thorough screenings of Ms. Cohen before you decide to appoint her
