In the spring of 2018, my partner and I were having relationship issues so we decided we needed couples counseling. A google search pulled up Cove Counseling. We started seeing Daria. I requested religion not be brought up because I am atheist. She agreed. After several sessions, I had a minor breakthrough. After quickly describing that breakthrough, Daria pounced. She point-blank told me that any “improvement” I thought I was making was invalid because, “without (her) god, I cannot improve myself.” Her lack of professionalism put me in to a deeper depression and a distrust in mental healthcare providers. However, Daria is not a mental healthcare provider. She’s an xtian whom takes money to prosthelytize couched as a couples/marriage counselor. My condition deteriorated exponentially until a family member expressed extreme concern for my mental wellbeing. I’d give a negative five star review but there’s no option for that. Save your money and see a priest, I hear they don’t charge by the hour for conversation. Find an actual doctor of mental health if you need mental healthcare; you will not find that with Cove Counseling.

Knowledgable, intelligent, easy to talk to and clearly committed to what they do. I've seen two different therapists at Cove and refer them often to anyone I know who is struggling with life issues.

I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. They really go out of their way to make their patients feel comfortable and welcome. They were very friendly and quite possibly had one of the most welcoming offices I've ever visited. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here.
