The strength training class for runners, led by Zac, has consistently been an amazing experience! The group dynamic is helpful and encouraging, especially with such a motivational trainer.

Just wanted to tell you about my experience at Body Structure. It was very rough! I found muscles I didn’t know I had! Now let me tell you about my experience with the Body Structure staff. Professional, personal, wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, personal, wonderful and awesome. They made my rough moments bearable and my visits successful. I had no idea that I could do the many exercises I did and will continue to do to help my back get straighter and stronger. Thank you!

Greg was at first my sisters trainer. After seeing her success working with him, I was motivated to train with him as well. Since working with Greg, my outlook has improved as well as my energy level. I can feel and see the difference in my body and Greg has helped me achieve realistic goals.

I had a one hour session with my personal trainer, Justin Gibson, today. I have been training with Justin for almost two years. The improvements in my health and quality of life are enormous. Weight is down significantly and proving easy to keep off with the ongoing training regimen. My overall strength is greatly improved as well. In addition to Justin, Josh Morton and the entire staff are knowledgable, professional, courteous and helpful.

Everyone is very friendly and encouraging. The group classes are well organized and very motivating! My trainer is flexible with our scheduling and I've never done the same workout twice which keeps it very interesting. I'm never bored or dreading the hour I spend with him.

What started as a Groupon deal, lead into a membership and training program. The staff at Body Structure have been so welcoming and encouraging. They actually know you by name and make a point of saying hello every time you are at the gym. Mere words don't do justice to explain the excellent experience I have had with my personal trainer, Greg Finger. From day one, he has been my number one supporter. Whether it has been new experiences with exercises at the gym or personal records for outside races that I compete in, Greg has always given me the encouragement and strength to accomplish anything I set my mind to. He is not only my personal trainer, but I can now call him my friend. I drive one hour each way twice a week to come to Lexington because it is very worthwhile. I would highly recommend anyone to join Body Structure if they are truly wanting a personal approach to achieving their fitness goals.

My journey with Body Structure began with a health fair at my place of employment. I put my name in a basket, and several days later my phone rang with an unknown Lexington number. I typically don't answer if I don't recognize the number, but for some reason, that day I did. As Josh went through his spiel about a two month free trial, I was already formulating my "thanks, but no thanks" response, and then found myself saying yes and setting up an appointment. I struggled with nerves on my way to both that appointment and my first personal training session, but in both cases, their staff put me instantly at ease as soon as I got there. I told my trainer that my goals centered around lowering my body fat percentage and avoiding my family history of diabetes, but I am also a runner, which he took in to account as he designed my workouts. Within 3 months, I had run three races, and brought my average pace down by almost two minutes. I have set a new personal record at every race that I have done since, but the biggest benefit that strength training has brought to my running is decreased pain, faster recovery time, and better injury prevention. Once I saw what strength training could do for my running, continuing on past the free trial was a no-brainer. My new goal became to run my first marathon feeling strong and injury-free, and to be able to bounce back quickly. My trainer, Zac, put in the time and the effort to design workouts that would help me reach that goal, and nearly two weeks ago, on a Saturday morning, I crossed the finish line of my first marathon feeling strong and injury-free, and all traces of soreness were gone by Monday morning. He helped me reach my original goals as well. I dropped nearly 12% of body fat in just under 6 months, bringing me in to the "fit" range for the first time in my adult life. I couldn't have done it without the supportive and knowledgeable staff at Body Structure. They provide a clean, well-equipped, and non-intimidating atmosphere that makes it easy to break past your comfort zone and build a new level of confidence. Best of all, they genuinely care about your success, and it shows.

Someone who defines themselves as motivated generally does not feel the need for personal training sessions. I am someone who has always enjoyed setting goals for local events and doing my best to achieve them. When I decided to give Body Structure a try, I was skeptical in the fact that I was already motivated and there was a price to pay for the service. The trainers recognized my goal of attaining a personal best and winning my age group in a local triathlon. They utilized resources to assist me in bettering my performance specifically in each event. I am now sold on the value of the personal training service Body Structure has to offer. In addition to achieving my objectives with the triathlon, I lost body fat, and I look and feel better. I know that my personal and performance goals were met. I would recommend Body Structure for personal training sessions to anyone no matter how self-motivated they are.

I first came to Body Structure in 2008 for a customized program of stretching to help with the discomfort of fibromyalgia. I returned in 2009 after completing three months of physical therapy for a bulging disk. They very effectively assessed my needs, listened to my concerns, and designed a customized regimen that addresses both the bulging disk and my fibromyalgia. Not only has the weaker side of my body become as effective as the stringer side, but my overall strength and conditioning has improved. Thank you, I’ve made steady, continuous progress towards my fitness goals without suffering the setbacks that may have been inevitable with a less skilled trainer.

I came in for treatment of my shoulder.i was very limited in the ability to move it and it was making it difficult to enjoy sports activities. Michael has a gifted ability to go right to the source of the problem and begin finding solutions. I have been improving on a daily basis and give all the credit for that to Michael's expertise.
