Valle Lake in De Soto, Jefferson County, Mo is NOT a health club! There is no exercise equipment, no boxing, no sauna, no pool, no weights and no personal training. The "Community Hall" is available to rent for private functions but is outdated with kitchen equipment that can't be used due to Jefferson County health codes. There is a small "private" beach area for swimming but the water is dirty, nasty and possibly has raw sewage running into it. The lake is not suitable for larger water craft and should be restricted to smaller fishing boats, smaller pontoon boats, paddle boats, canoes, and sailboats.

Back in the day, Lucas Park was a beautiful 17.97 acre spot for home/lot owners with a nice large pavilion, two bathrooms, picnic facilities, playground, softball field, and a very nice concrete tennis court. The bathrooms have been torn out and have no roofs, the roof on the pavilion needs replaced, the electric/sewer/water sources were removed, there is no playground equipment, and the tennis courts are deteriorated.

Valle Lake is private gated residential lake community in Jefferson County, MO. It is not a recreational facility open to the public. There is a small sandy beach area for residents. No spas, no health club, no tennis courts and the once beautiful Lucas Park is nothing but a 17.97 acre field of weeds with no bathrooms, no picnic tables and no playground.
