Financial abuse of residents - deliberately misbilling the insurance to get the resident to pay higher rates out of pocket, and misleading the resident about the specific charges by failing to mention all kinds of 'additional fees and services' and only telling the resident about the base rates.

Scary but nice staff - they have no boundaries. Within 2 hours staff tried to walk my non-able to walk husband to the bathroom - he almost fell. She said - well, I guess you cannot walk. He has a spinal tumor and cannot walk. His bones are fragile. The admitting nurse took my husband's greens - her rights - apparently he has none. Boundaries dictate that her rights stop where another person's rights start. Abbott Hospital did not try to take his stuff. Appears that although she was pleasant and out going she does not understand, and I suspect the facility does not understand - that your rights stop where his rights start. We will be asking for at least $200 to replace this. She had other options such as asking me to take this stuff home, etc......... This is a power issue whereby she is using intimidation to control another's actions. Abbott does not steal your stuff - The listed email does not work.

They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer.
