Very knowledgeable and approachable. Dr. Frey performed TPLO surgery on our 11 yr.old doxie pin. we were pleasantly surprised how alert she was the day after surgery.

Dr. Frey, in my opinion, is the best in Stockton. He's professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and he takes his time with his patients. I like him so much I asked if he'd be our veterinarian! As for his staff, they are wonderful as well. There's nothing worse than having to experience unprofessional staff but that's definitely not the case here.

Dr. Frey is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to get to know his patients and makes them feel they are the most important thing in the world. He is very honest and will not do any procedure that is not needed. I refer all my friends to him. His staff is great too.

Dr. Frey has operated on two of our Corgis. The first was a year old when her femur decided to "die". He did the experimental (at the time) surgery where he drilled holes in the bone to promote blood flow as part of the healing process, and it worked! The dog lived an additional 10 happy years. The second was a five year old who needed his knee's ligaments fixed, and that also worked well. The dog was happy for 5 more years.

My dog broke his leg and our Vet in Manteca refered us to Dr. Frey. My husband and I were very satisfied with Dr Frey and his office staff. They took very good care of Peyton, answered our questions fully and in language we could understand. The staff even went so far as to hand feed Peyton when he would not eat either of the foods the in his dish. I would highly recommend Dr. Frey to anyone who had an animal who required care over what their regular Vet could provide.

The first week in August, and the last week in August we took our beloved Doxies to Dr. Frye for emergency back surgery. It looks like our Sammy Girl will be walking soon, and our "Mighty" Miko, who had severe spinal cord damage, may in fact walk again someday! Living in Fresno/Clovis, Dr. Frye and his staff was the closest Vet for these procedures. I am eternally grateful for the care to which Dr. Frye and his staff handled my 2 Doxies. In my opinion Dr. Frye saved my Mikos life, and gave our Sammy the best possible chance to walk agin...:)
